Acco Kahn

This is a hotel of ancient times. This may have been the type of inn that Joseph and Mary went to on that April night in Bethlehem. The people would bring their stuff into the courtyard, often even setting up shop there, and sleep around the edges on the upper or lower story. Gerald Lund has noted that perhaps we should rethink the meaning of "no room for them" in the nativity story. Perhaps the stable was the most private place that could be found for an expectant mother.
