Galilee Ancient Boat
It doesn’t look like much now, but the boat in this picture goes way back. When the waters of the Galilee receded in recent years this boat was found in the mud. They took great pains to preserve the boat, including encasing it in foam until they could figure out what to do with it. This dates to the time of Christ as near as they can determine. Aside from the obvious fantastical speculation it invokes it allows us to see just what a fishing boat looked like when Jesus walked the shores of the Galilee.
