Winter Wonderland
I know we were wishing for snow all week long and although it would have been fun for David and family, I was glad I made it safely home to Colorado Springs. I had Justina over for a couple of hours last night and we were lamenting the fact that there was no snow on the ground.
Then I woke up this morning to SNOW!! I walked to church and sacrament meeting started with about 20 people. By the time the hour was over, the snow was beginning to drift and was still coming down strong. The Bishop decided to cancel the rest of our meetings for safety purposes. So I was home by 10:30. It has snowed all day and they have already called a 2 hour delay for school tomorrow's.
I put a log on and enjoyed a hot beef stew in front of 'roaring' flames with my Christmas tree lights shining and Christmas music playing. The only thing missing was my family that I already miss.
Thanks for a great Thanksgiving and for the visiting. I have to admit, family is exhausting but I am still looking forward to spending Christmas with the Arizona crew. Jenafer, you were missed and I look forward for a great visit.
I love you all and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
