I think I just threw my back out. By walking down the stairs. And putting the baby in his crib. Things I do a million times a week.

There is a private bus parked at the park across the street from my front window. A lot of older people are wandering around my park, taking pictures. It's not clear to me why.

I'm irritated at our federal government (the state and city haven't done anything irritating lately, so they get a pass). Cap-and-trade: REALLY BAD IDEA. Nationalized health care: EQUALLY STUPID. Cash-for-clunkers: merely DUMB.

Ezra is feeling a lot better, although I'll bet he develops a higher fever as the day wears on. It usually happens like that.

Michael Jackson wasn't a saint. Yes, he was talented, but definitely NOT a role model. Though I still remember some awesome Jackson Five stickers we got out of a cereal box when we lived on Banjo. Why the Jackson Five, though? It must have been the very early eighties.
