Tuesday
I am just mad at the moment. I am mad at Jeff's bosses. They are considering firing him because the loan officers still won't give Jeff their files because they don't want to have to deal with the fact that he actually does what he's supposed to do and checks the things they apparently don't want him to check. They are ready to punish him for other's incompetence! I'm just about ready to have steam boiling out of my ears. He has been working 12 to 13 hour days to keep up with what they want done and they don't think he's doing enough. Jerry (Jeff's boss) is so fed up with dealing with them that he has said that if they fire Jeff he is going to walk out. They just won't listen to the competent people they hired. They actually hired a efficiency expert who is telling the exact same things that Jerry's been saying for the last month and they still won't listen! Jeff's going to be looking around for something else, not because he wants to, but they are killing me!
Deep breath, deep breath, calm down, calm down. I have been having some problems with my wrist. It kind of feels like I sprained it. I have no up or down movement and when I pick up anything that weighs more then a pound or so I sends a sharp pain up my arm. I got a wrist brace today and while it helps, if I have it on tight enough to stop the pain then it starts to put my hand to sleep. That seems like a bad idea to me. I'm fairly sure it's the start of arthritis, but really, there's not allot anyone can do about that so I'm just dealing. It's not so painful that I'm taking aspirin or anything so I'm not going to worry over much unless it keeps it up more then two weeks.
Other then that I am just hanging tonight. Jeff only just got off work about 15 minutes ago so he's going to be late. My house is in fairly good shape, cleaning wise, so I'm feeling pretty good about that. My kids are mostly in bed so I'm doing good about that too. There's less then three weeks of school left, but I'm actually feeling pretty good about that. I won't have Kate or Bridget during the summer and it's only seven weeks long and then Erica and Kate will both be in full day kindergarten, so it's just be Bridget, Lillian and me next July. I'm hoping things will be really quiet.
