Friday

Well, today went rather smoothly. All things considered. I dropped the kids off at school and this morning was all normal with just me, Kate and Bridget. We have reached the point that when it's just the two of them, it's no different then if it were two of my own kids running around. They know the rules and expectations so it's rather quiet around here when it's just the three of us. Then Lillian and Erica get home and everything kind of goes insane. The four of them just love to spend time together! But they do get out of hand quickly. I have to keep a close eye on them in the afternoons. Today that was difficult because I had to get everything ready for the Father Sons trip. Jeff was planning to get off work today at noon and be home by 2:00 and leave by 3:00. That didn't happen exactly like that. They were hitching a ride with the across the street neighbors, who have a suburban and only one boy.
