Heather

We had a meeting at the school today to get back Heather's test results. Good news and ok news. They tested her IQ in four areas and averaged them for her main IQ number 104. Apparently 85-110 is considered normal. She tested at 123 in math and 98 in writing and I'm not sure what the other number was, but her reading was at 78. NOT GOOD. She officially has a learning disability. She will be going to Special Ed for at least an hour every morning until. Also, her teacher is supposed to read directions to her and she gets extra time on her tests and she gets extra time and attention while taking her Benchmarks and AIMS.

More good news- even though AIMS testing was last week and she didn't officially have an IEP then, they did have the test results already so she got the special help last week all during AIMS, her test results should more accurately reflect her abilities. Also, now that she is getting the extra help, her frustration level should lower until she can control herself at school.

Love ya all!

David, good luck tomorrow. We'll pray for you.
