Saving the world from peanut butter..

So, many of you know my friend, David Schefcik. He works in New York right now, doing...well, I'm not exactly sure what he's doing. Anyway, I was talking to him today and asked him what he was up to. He said "Today? Saving the world from peanut butter." I laughed, but it turns out he was serious. For any of you who haven't heard, there's been a massive recall of products made with peanut butter due to salmonella poisoning. Apparently there have been over 500 hospitalizations and several deaths attributed to this. It all comes from one company, which manufactures peanut butter and peanut paste in bulk, then distributes it to other companies to use in their products. So, it's not in the regular peanut butter you would buy in the store, but rather, in the cookies, ice-cream, nutrition bars, crackers, etc. that you would buy. Here's the most recent list of recalled products. I just wanted to let everyone know. Personally, we don't have the money to buy anything that's on the list, but we're poor. =) So, just make sure any treats you have with peanut butter in them aren't on the list before you eat them. Also, they said in the article that it could also be in some dog treats, so check that too. I love you all!
