We're Back!!!!

Good morning from Las Vegas. Yes we are finally back on the Blog! I am soooo sorry that we have not been keeping up with the family.

Things have been very hectic around here. About a month ago I was rear ended on my way to work but as there was no visible damage I thought nothing of it. Our car is now in the shop with a little under $1000 in repairs needed. I got our insurance company involved but didn't have more than the phone number of the woman who rear ended me. However, after leaving her a message to call me back...she did. I now have her insurance information...she had told her insurance what had happened but she forgot to get my number to tell me to call her insurance so she had to wait for me to call her.

We now have a rental car until ours is fixed and I wish we could keep it...an '07 Ford Escalade (AKA the Monster...it's huge) just because I said I needed to fit 3 car seats in the back.

Now for the BIG news...

I have a new job!! The company is called Shift4. They are a credit card processing company (I think that is right anyway) when you swipe your card at a store then they are the ones who process that information and sends it to the bank for approval...it's their software that the store uses to provide card swiping services to their customers.

I start on August 28th and, after the training period is over, it is a 4x10 job so I will still have one extra day a week off but still have a 40 hr/week job.

I'm excited for to start...
