Re: Baby Einsteins

Well, I never did believe that it would make my child smarter. I just love them for their baby-distracting skills. (Did I just say that out loud?)

And, obviously, Backyardigans are the way to go if you want your kids to be smarter. I mean, they certainly have encouraged my children's imaginations. And isn't that what intelligence is all about?

Actually, I agree that T.V. isn't the very best thing for young minds. And doing nothing for your child, because you are too lazy/busy/whatever, thinking that a DVD will make up for that--that's practically criminal behavior.

I refuse to get too worked up about it, though. My children don't eat organic, play the violin, or answer to a special whistle, either. (Nor to they run around Saltzburg in nothing but old drapes. Sigh. Now that would be cool.)
