Blood and Guts
I have lovely, must sought after O- blood.
And, speaking of blood, have you thought about spelling lately?
Okay, so I loved reading about Keryn and Samuel's interpretation of those numbers and how they apply to spelling. Now, for the answers:
700,000 the number of words in the English language. English is, by far, the language with the most words. Finnish comes in second with 400,000 and German third with about 136,000 (I think- I can't remember the number of German words exactly).
26 the number of letters in the English alphabet.
44 the number of phonemes (sounds) used to create words in the English language.
1,024 the number of patterns used in the English language to spell those words.
Scientific spelling. It will probably save my life.
