Birthday for the Samuel

Darn it, Jen beat me to it. (That's what comes of going to the tree nursery "first" thing in the morning instead of getting to the REALLY important job of blogging.)

Happy Birthday, Samuel!!!!

And right now the wind is blowing all those ANNOYING little seeds from off the elm trees in the park. You know the kind? They are falling as thickly as snow right now. And then every one of those THOUSANDS of seeds will sprout and I'll have to fight them off like gnats.

Can you tell I'm in a gardening type of mood? I bought strawberry plants and two types of lavender and lemon balm and lemon thyme today. And drooled over some lovely lilac bushes (we have to wait till we get our sprinklers in to buy those) and other flowers and bushes. The nursery was a treasure chest of ideas!
