indoor plumbing

I love cars, electricity, watches, internet etc. But, frankly, the first thing that popped into my head was indoor plumping. The thought of running out in the middle of the night in the middle of winter in the middle of a snowstorm to go to the bathroom- or worse yet (actually it might not be worse as I've never run out in the middle of the night in the middle of winter in the middle of a snowstorm to use the bathroom) using a chamber pot in your bedroom in which the pot remains all night with its newly aquired contents until morning when it can be thrown out the window. I guess it was that or hold it (for an uncomfortable and sleepless night)- so there- indoor plumbing!
