I think we can all agree that Disney lost out on a pretty big gold mine by not having Princess merchandise for 50 years. We know that all of us girls, Mom included, would have been Princesses. I know that Heather, Erica and all other little girls are big consumers!

Well, Disney announced today the start of a new movie. They have vowed to return to traditional annimation techniques, no computer annimation. The new movie's name is The Frog Princess. Their new princess' name is Maddie and she is from the French Quarter in New Orleans. Oh, by the way, did I mention that Maddie is black? Their first black princess, it's about time! Disney would not give any clue on storyline but, oh well, I guess we can wait!
