Re: QOTW
Okay, so I totally cheated on this question of the week. One of our favorite things to read to each other on the web is "Best of the Web Today" from the Wall Street Journal online editorial page (Opinion Journal). The man who writes it (James Taranto) is hilarious! One of his favorite things to do is take note of odd headlines and make fun of them. He accepts submissions--if you see something funny, you can send it to him, and sometimes he'll write about it. I actually submitted one once, and got my name in the acknowledgements! (Wooo-whooo! I'm famous. Or not.) So here are a few, starting with the one I submitted:
S.L. police seek armed home invaders (Help wanted?)
Peru: Ex-President Not Dead, and Feeling Better (If the only other option is being dead, then I'll bet he's feeling better)
Cult leader gets date with executioner (I wonder if they met through eHarmony)
