RE: Baby feeding in general

Amen, Samuel!

And, honestly, we live in one of the wealthiest nations in the world. We have clean, fresh, easily accessible water (although both my children like to drink the pressurized irrigation water used to water our lawn. Do you think that's bad?), and healthy, untainted formula (although, dude, that stuff's EXPENSIVE). I really don't doubt that breastmilk is best, but formula comes so close, it seems, that it's not that big a deal.

And I tend to think the damage to the mental health of the mother can outweigh the "advantage" of nursing. I mean, if you are dreading the next feeding in three hours...ugh. So, go, Telima, go!

Okay. I'll get off my soapbox now, too. And tell you all that Katy makes the cutest noises in the world when she's slightly disgruntled.
