NO MORE

Or at least, no more until my memory fades. A lot!

No, I'm not talking about pregnancy--although there are days. No, what I'm talking about is family gatherings.

It's not that I don't love getting together with my family and with Bradley's family. We've had a blast here in Page--wait till I tell you all about the awesome float trip we took down the Colorado River today. But then we got home to the babies (they didn't come on the float trip), put them down for naps, got them up...and Mercy promptly vomited all over everything.

Repeatedly. Tonight we did the family pictures, with a professional and all...and Mercy vomited all over her little coordinating outfit. Now she's down to dry-heaving, the poor baby.

Why do I blame this on the family reunion? The only time Mercy EVER gets sick is when we are on the road--with cousins. And we can't blame it on the change in water and stuff--Rex (Ezra's age) was sick yesterday, with the same thing, and he lives here in Page. And you know that Ezra will be sick as a dog tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

So I'm quarantining my family from cousins and road trips for now (well, when we get home). You are welcome to come visit us, Samuel and Caren, and of course this doesn't include Katy (well, until Mercy gets better it does). But I am sick of waking up in a strange bed to my baby swimming in vomit in a borrowed port-a-crib. Uck!
