Everyone is still feeling the repercussions of Dumbledore's death and the seeming defection of the Potion's Master Professor Snape. (The potion's class is still headless- there have been many applicants, but the Head Mistress has yet to make a decision about who will teach that class.)
Although it is strange for an English school to hire an American, fresh ideas and new blood are needed. I fly to England next Tuesday to take the train from King's Cross Station to Hogsmeade. There, I am to meet Hagrid who will escort me to Hogwarts for a tour and an opportunity to settle in to my rooms here. School starts at the end of August and then the real work begins.
