First: hair
After a ton of endless chatter, I finally convinced myself I could lose much of the dead material surrounding my face. Yes, I CUT my hair. For many, this might not seen like such a big deal- but for some reason, it seems like a major production for me. It is a little shorter than I had, at first, hoped it would be. After, as I returned to my car, I almost left like crying, but buyers remorse doesn’t work with hair. I can’t imagine returning to demand everything return to the way it was! They certainly can’t glue the ends back on, even if they could straighten out which strand went where.
However, since Wednesday, the length has grown on me. In church today, the most frequent comments were favorable for the change, but a close second was: “Where did you get so much hair?”
I wished more than once I had a witty answer for that question, but I’m not that fast. Any suggestions?
The picture above is the Sunday 'do'. It takes me an hour to blow dry the hair straight like that, so it will not be a normal day arrangement. You’ll have to wait for that picture until another day. (If you even care?!?! I mean really- is my life so boring this is all I have to talk about?!?)
