"A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes"

Or not. Aren't you glad that the title of the that song isn't always true? I mean, I really don't want to be a husband-wife spy team in Iran...do I?

At any rate, the alternate title of this post was going to be: "She Walks!" Or perhaps "She Stands, She Teeters, She Walks Two Steps, She Plops Down on the Floor!" Because the second is more accurate, but it is longer and more unwieldy. Mercy took two steps to much applause and cheering on Saturday, and although she hasn't managed more than that, she does do it quite frequently. She's pretty excited about it and so am I, because it's SPRING and we are spending a lot of time outside. It'll be a whole lot easier on her little knees if she can walk instead of crawl.

Not much else is going on in our neck of the woods, except for the Republican County Convention on Saturday--I'm pretty excited about it. And I'm going to watch my friend's son JR on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday--that will be interesting but mostly just fun, since Ezra and JR get along really well. (Ezra pronounces JR's name as "Juar". Which is okay because JR pronounces his own name as "Jar".)

Anyway, what is going on in your lives? And isn't Katy a cute name?
