RE: Stuff that has been discussed and will be discussed again
G'Day y'all,
First, it was not Caren who wrote the explanation to the most recent puzzle. I had read it and posted my comment before Caren read it. Sorry.
Second, I attending Red Rock Elementary school for kindergarten and first grade. I was at Doris Reed from 2nd until 5th. My teachers at Red Rock were Ms. Brown and Ms. Brewer, although I do not remember which one taught me first and which kindy. Ms. Burch was my second teacher and that is why I still remember all their names, they all started with B. Imagine my disappointment when I got Ms. Rye for 3rd grade. Oh well. I do remember walking home with David, who was in fourth grade at Doris Reed, to our home while it was still under construction.
As for 9-11, I was going to sleep on the Gold Coast. My companion was on the phone with a member from a different area and told me the world trade center was hit by a plane. This was P-Day eve, the night before P-Day. I imagined a small 2 person private plane. Much to my surprize when I woke the next day with a phone call from my zone leader telling us we had to stay inside our flat, apartment, until further notice. Our mission president was at a conference with all the other mission presidents in Australia/ New Zealand and was making regular reports to his AP's who then relayed to the ZL's who then called us. President came home as soon as he could and we were told the following: we had to stay dress in a tie and white shirt; we were to stay away from "American establishments," McDonalds, KFC, etc.; and we were to pray. So I did something I probably should not have done and went to the corner store to buy a paper. We then spent the remainder of our P-Day at a member's house watching the news. That was were I was.
My favorite cartoon/Disney character is Stitch. Need I say more. I do think Adam also likes him but he still enjoyed Pocohantas while in Vegas.
Love you all. SKT
