(It's a good thing Mercy is asleep, though, because I imagine she'd object. Yes, dear family, my daughter has said her first word. (Actually, she said it for the first time on Saturday, but I have been in denial.) When faced with a situation she didn't appreciate (finishing nursing), she told me, "No! No-no-no-no-no!"

Sigh. Ezra's first word was "Amen". Mercy's is "No". Am I in for it with her or what?)
