i was in lubbock texas knocking on doors with my two companions. When some man informed us that he was a day sleeper {like we took notes on every door we knocked}. He then re opened his door when were about to knock next door and said "just thought you should know we are under attack the twin towers have gone down" . My companions just thought whatever but then I peeked in the door of the next place that opened to us and saw that the tv was on and it was on the news. Missionaries that were en route to south america and other missions from the mtc, were put up by our mission president{our mission} until they could get to where they were called to go. Local new casters that were in the airport in dallas/fortworth had made comment about the group of missionaries who had kneeled down to pray in the airport. Gas stations were crowded that day.
