I think I hate holidays

I think I hate holidays. At least the little holidays that keep all of my kids home from school. Yesterday was especially trying because I think everyone was still recovering from a very long weekend and they were all still tired, but not willing to rest because it was a day off. Benjamin had a cub scout feild trip in the morning and went to his friends house in the afternoon. By the time evening came around he was whinning and crying non stop! Erica wouldn't take her nap and spent most of the afternoon and evening wanting to be on top of Mommy, there is only so much of being smothered that I can take. Heather and Jacob were fine for the most part, thank goodness. And Lillian is getting tired of being ignored by Mommy so I can finish packing the house. The good news is that my kitchen is now finally packed. All of the lower cabnets are empty so that Jeff can remove our child locks from them (all except the cabnet under the sink, I still don't want her in that one, even empty!) Today should go smoother, I hope.
