Birthdays and Carpools

I just wanted to say a quick Happy Birthday to Skyler and to Keryn. I already wished Keryn a happy birthday yesterday, but only because she reminded me that it was her birthday. I blame being pregnant on that. I was totally on top of her birthday and then somehow, I lost a week. I seriously thought that yesterday was about the 8th of January. So, once again, I'm sorry Keryn and I hope that your birthday was as fabulous as you could hope for.

As for the carpool lane thing, Tyler and I heard about it from Samuel and Caren while we were in Arizona over Christmas. I must say that I am relieved to know that the judge made her pay the fine. I agree with Jenafer in that every woman could have just claimed to be pregnant and what would the police do about it? Speaking of the car pool lane, though, I was wondering if anyone knew what HOV stands for. Tyler and I noticed them on all the carpool lane signs in Arizona and we were trying to figure out if they referred to hovercrafts, or...Hearts Onboard Vehicles, or...I don't know. We asked Samuel and Caren about it and they were just as puzzled as we were. If anyone has any idea, please let me know.
