Just noticing

As I was reading over my post I was noticing the salaries offered in Clark County and wondering. In the ( ) is states that the range includes benefits such as health/ vision/ dental/ Workman's Comp/ Medicare and retirement and I was wondering about that approximately $15,000 a year I was missing out on because it was included. Is this normal in most job areas? I certainly, even after 5 years, was not seeing the low end of $41,917 dollars a year teaching in Clark County. It makes me wonder what the break down is. Oh well, I guess I don't really care any more, just wondering.
