"Oh, the weather outside..."

...Is equal parts frightful and delightful, in my opinion. No, it's not snowing (that would be cause for much excitement in the Ross home), but it is raining, pouring, and COLD. It's frightful because it certainly puts a damper on any outside activities ("Mama, 'side? 'Side?"), and because I'm resisting turning the furnace on, on account of high gas prices (the horror of $150+ gas bills is looming). On the other hand, it's AUTUMN!!!!!! I bought some Indian corn and some gourds at the Farmer's Market on Saturday, the leaves are changing colors, people are using their fireplaces again...yay! I adore this time of year!
