Cuteness update

Just a little update on the two cutest Ross kids ever!

Mercy has a tooth! Her front right bottom tooth broke out on Saturday, when I discovered it when she chomped down on my thumb. She is two months ahead of Ezra in that respect, but a little behind Ezra in the whole babbling thing. She favors high-pitched screeches, whereas at this age Ezra was saying "da-da-da-da-da-da" and "ba-ba-ba-ba-ba".

And Mercy is crawling. Or, at least, scrunching her whole body forward toward stray Cheerios, Ezra's sippy cup, or anything that makes a crackling noise when smushed in a hand. Nothing is safe from this little girl, not anymore. Ezra isn't very happy, but is learning to adjust to having drool-covered toys.

And Mercy is drinking from a sippy cup. She absolutely refuses to take a bottle, no matter how hard I try. But Saturday morning, after the tooth discovery, I walked into the family room and found her happily sucking away on Ezra's sippy cup. Love that apple juice, she does!

About Ezra--well, he is about the cutest little blond two year old you ever did see. He is learning about "please" and "thank you", and responds to the question, "Who loves you, Ezra?" with "Gaw-MA". Not Momma, or Daddy, or Mercy, but Grandma. It is SO cute.
