Bedouin Tent
This is a real Bedouin tent that the folks at the JC bought for the students to use when we had a dinner inside. We got to eat with our fingers-- not always a trivial task when you are eating rice that wasn't quite sticky enough. Notice how easy it would be to "enlarge the borders" of this tent. Sew on more cloth and add a few more holes and you will have a much larger tent. Usually the tent is divided into a front portion where men meet the guests and a back portion (the harem, if I remember correctly) where the women and children would stay.
